Fiqh of Taharah and Salah – Urdu eLearning Course (FTSUeL) enables individuals to learn at their own pace with easy global access about two most fundamental aspects of daily worship, Taharah and Salah. The course provides an out-of-the-classroom disciplined individual learning environment with set timelines for completing lessons.

 

  1. Learn the wisdom and importance of matters pertaining to Purification by studying the book Kitab al-Tahara by Iqbal Kilani and ahadeeth from Sahih Bukhari (Kitab al-Wudu to Kitab al-Tayammum)
  2. Acquire a thorough understanding of the sources, types, process and requirements of purification
  3. Learn many rituals that a person needs to perform when purifying oneself from minor and major impurities.
  4. Have a clear understanding of the requirements and rules of fulfilling all recommended and obligatory prayers by studying the book Namaz e Nabawi
  5. Be able to fulfil obligatory and recommended prayers in the correct manner
  6. Acquire the knowledge of leading congregational prayers, know all ‘missed’ and ‘make up’ rules of prayers
  7. Be able to worship Allah subhanu wa ta’ala and avoid serious mistakes due to ignorance

 

URDU

This course is taught through the Kitab al-Tahara, Sahih Bukhari (Kitab al-Wudu to Kitab al-Tayammum) and Namaz e Nabawi lecture series delivered by Dr. Farhat Hashmi in Urdu. All assignments and books are available in Urdu.

Offered through a web-based learning management system (Moodle) on Al-Huda eCampus

  1. Electronic access to audio lectures and assignments
  2. Course is divided into two subjects: Fiqh of Taharah and Fiqh of Salah
  3. Minimum requirement is to complete two lessons per week
  4. Evaluation is through written assignments for each subjects

 

  1. Students aged 15 and above
  2. Should be able to read, write and understand the Urdu language
  3. Able to pay fee online (no other method of fee payment is available on eCampus)

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM ME AS A STUDENT?

  1. Students are expected to start the course as soon as s(he) registers after paying the term enrollment fee on the course website. This includes downloading and listening to the audio lessons for each week
  2. Students are encouraged to take notes while listening to the recordings. This is an important part of the learning process. Students can then share main points and reflections on what they have learnt with others to encourage and invite people to study Fiqh. However, it is not permitted to share the notes from the recording verbatim with others or on blogs
  3. A student must complete the assignments with a passing grade of 80% for each assignment

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF THE COURSE IN CHARGE?

  1. Students must not wait for their course in charge to contact them, it is the student’s duty to start the course as soon as s(he) registers on the course website
  2. The course in charge will be evaluating student’s performance by grading the assignments submitted by the student
  3. The course in charge will answer questions related to the lessons that the student may have, via email or student forums on the main course page

INFORMATION REGARDING FEE?

  1. The ONLY method to pay fee is online via PayPal on eCampus course pages
  2. No other method of fee payment is available on eCampus
  3. All course fee are non-refundable
  4. In case you withdraw from the course at any time, your term fee shall be donated towards the cause of promoting Islamic knowledge

  1. There are a total of 70 lessons in the course, totaling 40 hours in duration
  2. Since it is a self-paced course, the duration to complete the course is dependent on the student’s pace
  3. Minimum requirement is to complete two lessons per week
  4. Each term is for 6 months. If a student is unable to complete the course during this term, s(he) can enroll for the next term

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a Fiqh of Taharah and Salah – Urdu eLearning Course Certificate by Al-Huda eCampus and Al Huda Institute of Canada.
