Course Objective:

Salah is the most important daily ritual that Allah (SWT) has prescribed to us as Muslims, so much so that we learn that the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Salah. (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 413). This is why the Prophet (ﷺ) has informed us that “Pray as you have seen me praying…” [Sahih al-Bukhari 7246].

If you find yourself struggling with this daily ritual, contemplating if you’re praying correctly or generally struggling with Khush’u, here you have an opportunity to develop a deeper connection and a sincere love for it.

Through this course, you’ll be able to learn to pray the Sunnah way by understanding the deeper meaning behind each word and actions that are prescribed in Salah, build a stronger connection with your Creator, and learn to truly appreciate this gift.

What you will study:

  • Learn the conditions and pre-requisites of Salah

  • Get a closer look into each step of salah such as standing, bowing, prostration

  • Learn the adhkaar and dua’s that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to make in each position of Salah

Course Overview

Purpose
The Prophetic Prayer Course enables individuals to learn at their own pace with easy global access about the most fundamental aspects of daily worship: SALAH. The course provides an out-of-the-classroom disciplined individual learning environment with set timelines for completing lessons.
Language

ENGLISH

This course is taught through the lecture series delivered by Sister Maryam Saeed in English. The assignment and book are available in English.

Methodology
  1. Offered through a web-based learning management system (Moodle) on Al-Huda eCampus.
  2. Electronic access to audio lectures and assignment.
  3. Minimum requirement is to complete One lessons per week.
  4. Evaluation is through an online assignment.
Eligibility
  1. Females aged 13 and above
  2. The course content is meant for the female audience ONLY
  3. Should be able to read, write and understand the English language
  4. Able to pay fee online (no other method of fee payment is available on eCampus)
Duration
  1. Student will have access to the course portal for a duration of 6 months from the time of enrollment
  2. There are a total of 21 lessons in the course, totaling 21.5 hours in duration
  3. Minimum requirement is to complete One  lessons per week
Certificate
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded The Prophetic Prayer eLearning Course Certificate by Al-Huda eCampus and Al Huda Institute of Canada.
FAQ's

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM ME AS A STUDENT?

  • A student is expected to start the course as soon as he/she registers after paying the enrollment fee on the course website. This includes downloading and listening to the audio lessons for each week.
  • Students are encouraged to take notes while listening to the recordings. This is an important part of the learning process. Students can then share main points and reflections on what they have learnt with others to encourage and invite people to study. However, it is not permitted to share the notes from the recording verbatim with others or on blogs.
  • A student must complete the assignment with a passing grade of 80%.

INFORMATION REGARDING FEE?

  1. The ONLY method to pay fee is online via eCampus course page
  2. No other method of fee payment is available on eCampus
  3. All course fee are non-refundable
  4. In case you withdraw from the course at any time, your term fee shall be donated towards the cause of promoting Islamic knowledge
